IB Recruitment 2013 of ACIO-II/WT & ACIO-II/TECH (76 Posts)

Intelligence Bureau invites applications online from the citizens of India for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade II/Tech & Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade II/Wireless Telegraphy, General Central Service, Group–C (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial). Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post. The numbers of vacancies are provisional and liable to change. Both the posts are not reserved for any categories of Physically Handicapped (HH, OH, VH) persons. Hence they need not apply. Below are the basic and important information about position, eligibility and selection process etc.

Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2013 Details

1) Name of the Post : Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-Grade-II / TECH

No. of Posts : 19 Posts (Gen – 11 ;  OBC – 01 ;  SC – 05 ;  ST – 02)

Qualification : (1) (a) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics; or Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the subjects i.e. Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication & Computer Science awarded at the end of three years course from any recognised polytechnic or M.Sc. (Wireless) in TeleCommunication Engineering; and (b) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications or at least one year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognised Polytechnic/Institution; or (2) Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or BE or B.Tech in Software Engineering or Information Technology from a recognised university.

Pay Scale : Pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (plus admissible Central Government allowances in the Bureau).

2) Name of the Post : Assistant Central Intelligence Officer-Grade-II / WT

No. of Posts : 57 Posts (Gen – 12 ;  OBC – 20 ;  SC – 17 ;  ST – 08)

Qualification : (1) (a) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics; or Diploma in Radio Engineering awarded at the end of three years course from any recognised polytechnic or M.Sc. (Wireless) in TeleCommunication Engineering; and (b) Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications or at least one year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognised Polytechnic or Institute after graduation, or (2) Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or BE or B.Tech in Software Engineering or Information Technology from a recognised university

Pay Scale : Pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (plus admissible Central Government allowances in the Bureau).

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on closing date for receipt of applications; Relaxation of Upper Age Limit as per existing Govt. rules.

Application Fees : Rs.100/- for General and OBC Candidates & No Fees for SC/ST/Women.

How to Apply : Interested candidates who are meeting with above mentioned eligibility criteria are required to Apply online only through RUHS official website www.mha.nic.in.No other mode of application shall be accepted. Candidates can apply for one or both the posts provided they fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions. Candidates applying for both the posts will have to exercise an option in order of preference i.e., 1 for ACIO-II/Tech and 2 for ACIO-II/WT or vise-versa. Option once exercised, will not be changed at a subsequent date under any circumstancesOnce the application form is completed and submitted successfully  applicant can take print of the Registration Slip.Candidates need not send the Print Out by post or other medium of communication.
